Question 1

I am concerned about social distancing, will there be big groups of people?

Answer

The very nature of our event lends itself to social distancing. There is no mass start line, so no big crowds. We are also sending different sets of runners off on different routes to avoid congestion at the checkpoints and we will also be staggering the start messages to further reduce the likelihood of crowds forming. Remember there is no set route so to further avoid other participants you can create your own route.

How will you keep me safe?

Answer

Staggered start line and lots of space to social distance! We have 12 different routes, so lots of room to spread our runners out. We are restricting entry numbers. We will be staggering the messages so you wont all start at the same time. We have planned our finish shoot to ensure you can queue safely if required. All checkpoints are non contact and located in wide open spaces!

Question 3

When will I find out where to go?

Answer

Leading up to the event day we will let you know where to head for your 'start' location. You will recieve a message to your first location, cross the start line and away you go. At each checkpoint you will be sent your next text message to guide you around the course until you reach the end! Remember to keep that phone charged.

Question 4

Will I be told where to start?

Answer

Yes! We will let you know your 'start' location and then from there the adventure is waiting to be discovered as you make your way around our secret route.

Question 5

Do I have to run or can I walk the route?

Answer

You can run, walk or crawl….its entirely up to you. However we will be closing the finish line at 14:00, but this will give you lots of time to make it there!

Question 6

What do I do if I can’t find the checkpoint?

Answer

The checkpoints will be very clear when you arrive at the locations, so you shouldn’t have a problem. If all fails there will be a number that you can ring which will give you some helpful info to help you on your way.

What time does it start?

Answer

To keep you safe we will be staggering the start times and we will let you know your start time in the lead up to the race. As a heads up be ready to start your adventure between 9-10am on Sunday 4th. We will let you know nearer the time when you should be receiving your first checkpoint.

Question 8

When will I receive my pack?

Answer

We will be sending out your pack with some event essentials included in the last two weeks before the event. If you don’t receive it please let us know so we can sort you out a replacement.

My training is going well, can I change my distance?

Answer

Question 10

Will there be parking?

Answer

We will make sure there will be parking close to all starts. Please be aware of any parking restrictions that maybe in force on event morning.
