When will I find out where to go?

This year the start line is in the Bath Recreation Ground. Leading up to the event day we will send you more information about the event. On the night, you will receive a message to your first location, cross the start line and away you go. At each checkpoint you will be sent your next text message to guide you around the course until you reach the end! Remember to keep your phone charged!

I am thinking of entering my family, what time does it finish?

This all depends on how quickly you can get round the course. Usually the 5k would take around 1hr 30mins at a steady pace but that's up to you and how quick you want to go.

Will I have time to get to the start after work?

Accepted Answer

Our Friday night event on 5th July will open its start line from 6pm. You will have lots of time to start, as it's a rolling start process. Don't panic we have you covered.

Will I be told where to start?

Accepted Answer

Yes! This year the start location will be in Bath Recreation Ground. From here the adventure is waiting to be discovered as you make your way around our secret route.

My training is going well, can I change my distance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's no problem. Drop us an email to info@secretrunseries.co.uk and we will be happy to help.

Do I have to run or can I walk the route?

Accepted Answer

You can run, walk or crawl….it's entirely up to you. However there will be a closing time at the finish, but this will give you lots of time to make it there! Get in touch if you're still unsure.

What do I do if I can’t find the checkpoint?

Accepted Answer

The checkpoints will be very clear when you arrive at the locations, so you shouldn’t have a problem. If all fails we provide a telephone number that you can ring which will give you some helpful info to help you on your way.

What time does it start?

We will be staggering the start times and we will let you know your start time in the lead up to the race. As a heads up, be ready to start your adventure at 6pm on Friday 5th July. We will let you know nearer the time more details on the evening.

When will I receive my pack?

You will collect your race information/bib number at the race start at Bath Recreation Ground on the night of the event.

We will make sure there will be parking close to all starts. Please be aware of any parking restrictions that may be in force during the event.
